What is the difference between PVC and aluminium windows?
PVC windows (such as Trocal 76) are more affordable and have excellent thermal insulation but are limited for very large sizes. Aluminium windows (Reynaers, Schüco, ETEM) are stronger, with a lifespan of 30–45+ years, and ideal for large openings, panoramic windows and winter gardens — but they cost more.
Which system do you recommend for a winter garden?
For winter garden glazing we recommend the ETEM E45 aluminium system — versatile, with multi-point locking and an optional security hardware kit. For higher thermal insulation, choose Schüco AWS 90.SI+ with a glass package up to 68 mm.
Which glass package should I choose?
We recommend triple glazing with Low-E glass and Argon gas for maximum energy efficiency. For south- and west-facing exposures, add solar control glass that blocks heat from outside. Triple glazing saves up to 30% on heating costs.
What is tilt & turn opening and why is it better?
With tilt & turn opening the window opens horizontally (to the side) and tilts vertically for ventilation. This provides more locking points, a better seal and added convenience. The price difference is minimal, so we always recommend it.
What does the warranty cover?
We offer a 5-year warranty that covers the profile, glass package, hardware and installation. It includes free adjustment within the warranty period and after-warranty service.
