Hebe-Schiebe (German for “lift-slide”) is the most advanced system for large panoramic doors. When opened, the sash lifts slightly and glides sideways on rollers; when closed, it lowers and seals tightly against the frame.
The technology delivers perfect sealing, excellent thermal and sound insulation and remarkably easy operation even for structures weighing up to 600 kg.

What are the maximum dimensions of Hebe-Schiebe doors?
With Homeplast Inferno we build structures with a sash weight of up to 600 kg — roughly up to 3 m wide and 3 m high per sash. In multi-panel configurations the total width can exceed 6–8 metres.
Is the door hard to operate?
No. Thanks to the lift mechanism and high-quality rollers, even sashes of 400–500 kg slide remarkably easily. The weight transfers directly onto the rollers and track, so the door can be operated with one hand.
Are they suitable for harsh winter conditions?
Yes. The Inferno system has an 80 mm thermal break in the frame and 65 mm in the sash — among the best values on the market. Combined with triple glazing up to 71 mm and double gaskets, the doors are fully suited to cold climates.
Is automation possible?
Yes. Hebe-Schiebe systems can be fitted with an electric drive for remote control — convenient for very large, heavy structures or for Smart Home integration.
What threshold does the system have?
Inferno has a threshold with a linear drain at the base to channel water away. The threshold is aluminium with a thermal break. A low threshold can also be made for easier access where needed.
